Join Western Aranda artist Vincent Namatjira in conversation with MCA Curator First Nations Art Rebecca Ray to hear the powerful story behind the MCA Commission, King Dingo.

Created in collaboration with The Electric Canvas and featuring an original score by Namatjira and Indulkana-based composer Jeremy Whiskey, 'King Dingo' reclaims symbols of power through humour, music and image – transforming the dingo into a figure of strength, sovereignty and resistance.

Understanding the stories, symbolism and intention behind King Dingo brings powerful resonance to the experience of seeing it come alive across the Museum’s façade. Following the talk, experience the illuminated façade in full at dusk.
