A 1979 mail plane has landed at the Pier Street underpass in Darling Harbour, touching down to deliver Neon Dreams by Trolley'd, a retro-futuristic roller disco diner, exclusively for Vivid Sydney. Featuring Shannon Martinez, the revolutionary force behind plant-based dining in Australia, dive into a dreamscape of bold American flavours, vinyl-only beats, roller skates, and foraged botanical cocktails.

Experience Shannon’s ultimate plant-based take on classic American diner staples. Juicy burgers, crunchy, fluffy fries, creamy mac & cheese and jelly donuts—all crafted with Shannon’s signature focus on big, unapologetic flavours.

Post (or pre) feast, glide onto the roller rink—an airline-themed fantasy complete with a grounded mail plane turned DJ booth—and skate to beats spun by Bob Gherkin. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a total newbie, the rink welcomes everyone—plus, it’s fully accessible for wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Thirsty? The Trolley’d bar is shaking up low-waste, foraged cocktails and retro milkshakes, using ethically sourced ingredients and native botanicals—expect sips like lemon myrtle margaritas and Illawarra plum sours.

Keen to strap on some skates? Grab a ticket, BYO skates and safety gear, or borrow ours (no extra cost for ticket holders) and roll into the action. Just want a delicious plant-based feed? No ticket needed—rock up, fill up and soak in the retro vibes.

Before rolling into Neon Dreams, be sure to read our FAQs so you're across all the ins and outs of your night. You can also find our full Terms and Conditions here.

Neon Dreams is a co-production between Vivid Sydney and Trolley'd.
