Great Day! Choir

When

Fortnightly on Fridays, 11:15am to 1:30pm Friday 8 August to Friday 12 December

Great Day! Choir is a new joyful singing group for people with dementia and their community.

There’s now a wealth of evidence to show that singing is especially powerful and useful for people who have dementia, contributing to a feeling of connectedness, evoking positive emotions, improving mood and providing an outlet for expression and fun.

The choir will be run by Christina Mimmocchi (musical director) and Jude Rosonakis (wellbeing director) both of whom are experienced community choir-makers.

A carer or family member must attend with each participant. The more the merrier.

Book

Presented by the Older Women's Network NSW. If you or someone you know is interested in joining, or you’d like to find out more, please email OWN at [email protected] or call Christina on 0410682061.
